The Near Sound Field on these little speakers is insane (in movies, dialog seems to magically come from right in front of you, in games the sound placement is spot-on, etc)
Bass can be a little too 'thumpy' to me, maybe that's a good thing to others?
You can use these to replace crappy TV sound pretty easily
These are still the unequivocal king of 2.1 PC speaker systems in this price range

astrooooUpvote for replacing TV sound. I've done that in the past, and it works really well. My klipsch subwoofer broke, and I'm very tempted to jump on this to have an easy replacement.
