Is the R value correct? That seems a little low to be used directly on the ground. Any plans to sell an insulated version?

the pictures show 2 different inflation valves, one on the side and one on the top in the upper left corner. Which is the correct valve?
bspikeIt is the valve in the top left corner. When the pictures were originally taken, the sample had it on the side. But all production has the valve on the top left corner.
