I got mine in the last drop it's light and packs down small, but i think it's designed more for a person that sleeps on their back versus on their side which I am.

Repo@Repo - you're the first person to suggest that these are better for back-sleepers than side-sleepers. I'm not calling into doubt your personal experience with these, just saying that most side-sleepers (like myself) really like this one. I find it much more comfortable for my ear than my other Montbell UL pillow (which looks similar to the Big Sky pillows and most other air pillows). What other pillows have you found are better for side-sleeping? And what headwear do usually wear at night, such that you didn't find this so comfortable? Thanks!

DannyMilksWell that's just my opinion on it. I've actually not tried any others. I usually just use a stuff sack was some clothes for my pillow as in headgear i usually don't use any of that either unless it's super cold.

DannyMilksI am a side/stomache sleeper and would agree with Repo that I find this very comfortable when laying on my back and reasonable when on my side. Maybe we have odd heads! I still like the pillow as I like being able to control the height/firmness by adjusting how inflated it is but I also put mine in a stuff sack with some spare clothes tossed in to shape it better. I guess I find it weird having this cavity my ear disappears into. In the end though think this is a classic case of YMMV since sleep is so individual!

westcoastI completely agree @westcoast. I thought there was a consensus that this is great for side sleepers, but apparently some people much prefer it for sleeping on one's back. Thanks for sharing your experiences.
