arachideI'm a spaz and I tried to stretch these to cover the grills of my headphone (he 4xx) on my head/getting it off of my head. I usually keep the kph30i on my shoulders when I get home but I do notice it when I'm getting heated after playing a rage inducing session of a game. I get to about 1 cm before they would go over the edges to cover the grills before I decided that that is enough torture, besides that I was going to get the wires tangled right after pull off such a trick. Doing that a few dozens of times within the span of almost two months, there is no cracks in the plastic. I'm going to assume it is a quality control things because these things are extremely simplistic in design and does not have much in terms of mechanisms that will fail when abused unlike the 4 pairs of Logitech headsets I broke that will always fail at the hinge within 3 months
