Is the aptX standard or the Low Latency version?

MartinmooreBetween those two, I'd actually prefer aptX LL so I can use these to watch videos w/no sync issues. Quite often, aptX is mentioned but not disclosed what version (e.g. Plantronics doesn't mention that aptX in Backbeat Pro and Sense lines is actually LL which is a bonus for me).

MartinmooreJust got mine from Amazon as I didn't want to wait for the drop. Hooked up to Avantree's TC418, it's only regular aptX.

MartinmooreHaven't had extensive time yet as I spent a bit of time burning them in though I'm not a believer of drastic sound changes as a result but rather, I do it to head off any of the "omigoshyoudidn'tburntheminthusyoucan'tsimplyqualifyyourstatementsaboutthesoundquality" mob mentality ;o). I am not an audiophile by any means nor can I wax eloquent about SQ/SP like some really good reviewers so if you can stand a layman's take on it here goes:
I don't have the original wired versions but based on my limited listening sessions so far, they sound similar to Sennheiser's PX100-IIi with above average bass and a polite upper treble; veiled might be a little strong to use here (though I do think the term might be appropriate for the PX100's) but if you're used to Beyer's peaky treble then I'd imagine that these would sound slightly veiled . They do make listening to brass instruments totally bearable. The mid's are just a tick above neutral but nothing that's goose-bumping inducing on great vocal tracks. As these are "open back" (reason for quotes is the "open" part is achieved through 14 pairs of pin-holes spaced evenly in a radiant pattern but not fully encompassing the entire back of the drivers, the bottom 30 degrees or so is solid to accommodate the wires) they sound reasonably spacious (better than the PX100-IIi) but won't be mistaken for something like SHP9500's spaciousness. I do plan on doing a vid review so will post that when I get around to it.
