Only small available. Dammit
I'm in if Massdrop can get more LARGE!
I looked at these and decided to go with the Kathoola micro spikes as they had better construction.

Yeah, I tried some others like this and they disintegrated 20% into the hike. Katoolahs rule.
Are these substantially better than ole yaktrax?
Is it safe to assume these are men’s sizes?
An XL version for my size 12 feet if available please!
And yet again, no options for anyone that is above average in size. Seriously disappointing, Massdrop. You're ignoring an already underserved market.

So you're mad at Massdrop for not dropping something that probably isn't even made by the manufacturer as though they have a choice in the matter? Interesting...
Just got the Zipsin 6 instead of the 5. Thank you Massdrop!

Glad you got your Zipsins! We worked it out with Kovea to get our Massdrop members the Zipsin 6 at no extra cost. This model is brand new and has a few improvements over the Zipsin 5. Let us know how they work for you!
My observation: Snowline Chainsen (another drop here), Kathoola MS, Hillsound TC - all have a second strip on the forefoot area. These Kovea ones don't have that. I wonder how they're going to perform on uphill sections especially in the mountains. It seems like they probably will slip or something. No reviews on the web... I'm still on the fence.
A size chart has been added to the drop page @Tysonz3 @Cuylar @Leftyisthebest @chris167

Thanks!
What's up with the half ass description, no size info, no pictures of the case?
I'm looking for spikes for ice fishing, no vertical climbing! I wear a large Baffin Revolution size 12 boot, would the large size even fit that?!!
How do these compare to Kahtoola Microspikes?
sneakyninjapants
I tested these this winter, and they were far inferior to the Kahtoola.
The Kahtoola have a tiny inner reinforcement inside the (softer) rubber where the chain attaches to it. Without it, the Kovea allowed the chain to tear through the rubber, and they became useless after about two weeks of hiking when the chains detached.

Thanks!
Umm, those aren't crampons!

True. But they are useful. Do we have a word for these things yet? I usually call them all "Microspikes," But I know that's not a generic.
They make a huge difference when hiking on ice, not so much if you're looking to do some serious climbing or mountaineering.

Or just walking outside the house in Minnesota! Pretty sure I've saved myself from multiple broken bones, and my mom from a broken hip, by wearing my Kahtoolas.
Sizing info? Odd that they list the weight of each but not what size shoes /boots they fit...
