Sennheiser PC37X randomly goes bad after disconnecting the cable ?
Greetings, Yesterday I was using my headset like normal with my macbook, just listening to music and on a call with people like usual, and the headset was perfectly fine. The stock wire that came with the headset is extremely long and yesterday it annoyed me very much that it kept getting tangled with itself, so I decided to see if the cable is replaceable. I pulled out the cable from the headset and saw the adapter, and looked online for a replacement. Upon plugging it back in, the audio sounded extremely muffled and washed out. Im not sure what I did wrong to make it mess up like that as I've always taken good care of it, ive had it for about 2 years and its always just been chilling on my desk, but anywho I thought the cable just went bad and ordered a replacement. The replacement came, and the issue is still persistant, so I am not sure what the issue is I've tried multiple different headsets and the issue is not with the port, and I also tried it with my windows laptop and...

The KZ ZS6 solved the construction problem I had. All aluminum Construction quite sturdy and they look really good. The tips that came with these we're very good probably just right. Every once in awhile I hear a brightness to the treble that is uncomfortable, but it's like a couple times a day versus a couple times this song. Not so much that I want to do anything about it. Their bass signature is stronger than their predecessor. What seemed just Out Of Reach on the KZ zs5 were front and center oh my word, I have never heard such a great base on an IEM. Deep deep bass along with a good midbass. When the bass kicks in I want to stop what I'm doing and just listen. It puts a smile on my face. I do equalize my bass at probably 20 to 30% above neutral. At neutral the vocals do seem recessed. Ugg I can't seem to have everything in 1 IEM. The vocals are good but they don't make me stop want to close my eyes and just listen. But I do have to say they're pretty close to that. I enjoy listening to them. Treble I don't much care about. Sorry about that treble lovers. But I really do love detail. And these can deliver some pretty outstanding detail. I no longer have my Monoprice M560s but I feel like the detail is similar. Unfortunately I can't do a side-by-side compairison anymore. The detail is so subtle you will only notice it when you make sure your ears are very clean. I rolled the tips on them thinking I would get bigger Bass with JVC spiral dots. And I did the bass got Boomer but it also got less precise. I'm sure I will find different circumstances to enjoy the different tips. (One more side note: rolling tips has something to do with fit but pay attention to the aperture size small aperture means you will have more treble large aperture size means you will have more Bass. Ask anyone with the LZ A4 iems.) So in my opinion these KZ ZS6 are the best KZ has so far. The bass alone is a reason to upgrade from the KZ zs5. The better Construction is another reason that all by itself is a reason to upgrade. It seems they respond really well to Equalization especially in the bass. So are these and the gay material. Sadly no. Although these are closed and that's I'm starting to doubt weather there exists such a thing for me. I kind of think that one IEM cannot have it all. But for excellent bass and really good vocals these have my current recommendation.
