The pen is gorgeous. Definitely a statement pen. I purchased the rose gold fine nib. The presentation was lacking upon opening the box. The monogrammed tassel which I assume was to be attached to a pouch was just put in the box. The pen wasn't in a sleeve as the higher end pens I've purchased usually are. It's a small detail but worth noting. It had me wondering if it had been returned and resold. Hmmmm.... The pen itself is beautiful, however, upon closer inspection the detailed metal edges of the pen (the labyrinth) should have been "finished" for a smoother more polished look. It does write like a dream. The nib glides on paper! Makes for a wonderful writing experience. Posted, the pen is heavy and not balanced. I prefer to write without the cap on. I would recommend.
