It may be because I have the round type shoelace, but I found they do not work as advertised as my shoes always seemed much more loose than when I tie them.
*Removed overly harsh comment since I sounded like a d-bag.
Hey Thanks Andy! I appreciate the support. MD is a great platform and always look forward to seeing whats new on MD as well.

Hey Guys, we decided to throw in an additional 3-pack for the holiday season! We will be shipping immediately after the drop ends. We are going to do our best to have all USA orders delivered by Christmas, international orders will be tight but we'll do our best! Enjoy!

LaceAnchorsHi there I received the Lace Anchors in Australia today... but didn't receive the additional 3 pack. It's ok though just wanted to stop by and let you know that ever since backing them on kickstarter I've only got high praise for them, as well as friends who always ask where to get more after i've given some away as presents! Thanks for making it free shipping worldwide! :)
s2_suz_42Hey S2, shoot me an email info@laceanchors.com so we can get this straightened out. Thanks for the awesome support! We really appreciate it. I am glad you and your buddies enjoy them. You actually forget about them and realize how convenient once you use a pair of shoes without them. Thanks again!

rileydalisaWrong, they are $17 for 24 Anchors on their website. They are $12 for 24 Anchors here. Gotta read the details.

Is this really only for casual wear? Meaning, for running or other sports, are they really going to be tight?
This is pretty cool, I hope he doesn't get ripped off too quickly.

SP27They really do stay tight. For my first pair, since I didn't know how secure they'd be in the long run, I applied the anchors after I had really tugged my laces tight first, assuming they would give a little bit over time. But that never happened, and I had to loosen them myself after 2 weeks. So my advice is to apply them to your normal fit, not overly tight.
I've used them to good effect on several pairs of sneakers and boots, but I haven't used them on my dress shoes. Maybe the thinner round laces of dress shoes wouldn't work as well, but with regular flat laces of different widths, as well as the thicker round laces on boots, the anchors have always stayed put and I've never had any more slack than the amount I dialed in at the time the anchors were first applied.
Now I can totally understand why some people cut off the leftover ends of their laces after they've been anchored. I haven't gone that far yet, but if I'm just running around the neighborhood, I don't even bother tying my laces anymore. I just tuck them out of the way, and the shoes stay snug. No slipping heel or loose flappy tongue on my sneakers. On my boots, since I installed the anchors at a lower position, I could rock a loose open-top Timberland style if that's still a thing, yet have the security of a secure fit below the ankle.

SP27Not just for casual wear. These things stay *tight*. Like I said in another post, I've used them for 6 months and they've never had to be adjusted. Walking, running, biking, snow, rain, etc.

PotatoTMIt probably helps that they are shipping tiny, light pieces of plastic.

Are theses laces the 2.0 version ? And you get enough for 12 pairs of shoes, not 6, right?

I received mine yesterday. But I didn't receive a 24-pack; instead I just got a 6-pack. What now'?

Which is misleading, since Lace advertises it as a 6-pack.

To be fair, I didn't read the description, since I already knew the product. A better description would be 24-anchors, not 24-pack.

Why hasn't this been advertised. I had NO IDEA that this would be handled by someone other than Massdrop which means I am interested in buying it. (Just did) You should definitely make this clear as this could yield more sales since some people refrain to buy from you because of bad rep when it comes to support.

My comment was in no way directed at you, I am sure you have great support considering you answered a question not even aimed directly towards you.
I just haven't participated in any drops since they so utterly failed in the QC of another drop, one where they sent the items themselves. They haven't addressed the issues or taken care of any replacements yet, and they have performed 2 more drops of the same item since then. Massdrop don't respond either, which is why I am glad that these are sent from you which makes it far more trustworthy.
MorganGotcha. Well hopefully all will get sorted out. Yup I'm here for any questions or concerns. Thanks again for being part of this drop!
