When designer Hannes Wettstein sought out the ideal construction of a pencil, he had a rich history of artists, architects, and designers in mind. The LAMY Scribble Pencil line is a contemporary approach to the classic media of charcoal and lead, with a unique barrel shape for updated ergonomics Read More
I have the lead holder 3.15mm I mean. It doesn't have an eraser neither a sharpener. You can have 3.15 mm sharpeners from brands like Kum or Faber Castell, or use a regular sharpener and sharpen your lead by tilting at an angle if needed.
I also use Faber Castell leads with 3.15mm but please mind that Scribble is a short pencil and you'll need to trim or divide long leads.
StacybeanSorry about that @Stacybean, I've flagged this issue to support so that we can get you in on this drop before it ends.
Thanks for your patience!
It indicates you can purchase an eraser refill for the .7 option, but not the 3.15mm option. Is there no eraser on the 3.15? If so, what is there instead?
It would be nice to get this in EU in the future. I wonder what's up with the "US only" restriction.
Does it have something to do with how the shipping is organized for LAMY products?
xSashI would bet that, like most of the other Lamy drops, this one will probably only ship to the US. I'd wait for official response from TPTB, but I would not keep my hopes up too high.
I've got both and they are great. I reviewed them at http://bleistift.memm.de/?p=3649
There's also some information about the designer in the blog post.
The leads they come with are very soft though. Too soft for my liking, but many people like soft leads.
NorrisBLamy doesn't make the Scribble in .05mm. I feel you though. Though I think with a pencil this thick, .7 is as thin as I'd want it, plus 3.15 is a cool and unique size, you don't see it all that often.
