GiordinoThere are so many, but I really recommend you buy the Boker Torx Set (made by Wiha). Awesome quality. You can always purchase extra bits if you strip any of them. Most common on folders are Torx T6 and T8 and I have stripped so many of them, but I just buying them separately anytime I need more.
What do most people mount the rig on when using it to sharpen? I see Lansky sells some of their own C-clamp designs, but I'd rather find a budget alternative I can source anywhere
JakeSizzleI just hold the knife handle or the clamp itself. I recommend taking a picture of the knife in the clamp to align it the same way every time. I also use a washer to tighten the screw. The screw, on mine at least, has a rather wide flathead slot. The top to the philips head (flathead was the extra) stripped out a little so I switched to the flathead.
Just out of curiosity. When I think of a guided system like this, I am always concerned that as you do longer knives (my 10 inch chef for example) as you get further from the guide your angle will change! How big of a problem is this?
Epic_EnkiduJust curious ; I am showing $38.78 on 03/24/18. Did prices at Amazon go up or is Amazon charging me more compared to you? Could you check what your current price is?
