With dual capabilities, you can set the hammock up under diverse conditions. As a hammock, it suspends over steep, wet, or rocky terrain and holds up to 275 pounds. As a tent, it pitches on more level surfaces. When used as a hammock, the spreader bar and arch-pole system help keep the bed taut to avoid the “cocoon” effect common to many hammocks. Netting keeps out bugs and an attachable rainfly keeps out water. Finally, if you're looking for a bit more warmth, the optional underquilt provides plenty of insulation to keep your buns toasty on windy evenings.
