Seriously considering this. It says interior room is 90", but is that room completely usable because I see it tapers at the ends? What I mean is: at 79" tall, will I be comfortable in this thing?

daaperIt doesn't taper at the end. It's super tippy though. Read my other comment.

daaperWe have lots of customers your height who use our hammock without any issues and with plenty of room to spare. I'm 6'4" and and am in that same boat. Hope that helps! -Wes

lawsonhammockThanks for the reply. Now my only dilemma is if I truly want to be a hammock-person. This would be my first.

daaperhaha, I hear ya! It's a different experience for sure and a lot of fun. Most people find it more comfortable than sleeping on the ground...although that's also an option in our product if you're in a spot that doesn't have trees. Also, in response to someone else's comment...it's not tippy if set up properly and if you do want more stability, it's easy to stake/tie off the four corners with some cord. Thanks!

lawsonhammockI have a few friends that do it and love it. I've never been a fan of sleeping on the ground, but a sleeping pad helped. Now I'm imagining a sleeping pad in a hammock and how much better that could be.
No worries about "tippyness". I've watched plenty of videos/reviews of it to know that he probably wasn't setting it up properly.
