Product Description
Leatherman has earned a solid reputation for making some of the highest quality, sturdiest tools on the market. The Signal is one of the larger models in the Leatherman collection, offering 19 tools in a compact package Read More
Not a bad multi tool at all but that blade with half of the edge corrupted with serrations is big no-no in the bush. They should have kept the blade a single edge.
cagenutsIn the Bush I would have a real knife that was suitable for bushcraft. This tool is not the ideal bushcraft tool, but the serrations would come in very handy for cutting rope and canvas for shelters. My problem with serrations particularly on marginal steel like 420 is they dull quickly and are hard to sharpen.
Also this is 20% off on LLBean, as is the rest of all their freaking amazing stuff, until the end of today. You also get free shipping and a $10 gift card since it's over $50. So great. This ends tonight at midnight on Eastern time by the way. AKA counting the gift card and before tax, ~$70.

rhinocerosbladderWell, thanks to you , even though I was officially late for the 20% discount, the clerk at the LL Bean store still gave me the discount AND the $10.00 gift card, I got my Signal there. Actually, since the LL bean store did not have the Signal in the store, I should expect delivery in 5 days... Total cost was $73.00.
kiddLeatherman has a 25 year warranty and I've used it multiple times in the past...they're one of the best you'll find anywhere. Just filled out a form through their website, sent it to them and a couple weeks later I had a bran new one mailed to me. I even had a discontinued model that broke and they sent me a newer, better one. These guys are top notch when it comes to warranties
Ah yes - 'tis the season for deals, I see we have a little pre-Black Friday action already on Leatherman...well, I can't give you any JJRice gift cards we did work out a couple more drop points with the vendor. Thanks @rhinocerousbladder for letting us know so we could get a better price for the community.
$99.85 on Amazon with free 2-day shipping for Prime members, or probably just free shipping for almost everyone anyway. Even at the lowest "commit" price, a total of $96.99 is kinda shit.
