The full-grain pebbled leather exterior is quite supple but offers the durability and protection you’d expect from a quality hide Read More
Got mine. I opted for the expanded version of the Bomber. Very impressed with the overall quality of the product. The leather is full grain and is very supple to touch. Only disappointment is the exterior front zipper pocket, it is not a hollowed out zip design so the zipper stops at the short edge. However, the width dimension of the front pocket is just short in size and won't fit a 8.5 width (letter size) or a 8.3 width (Rhodia pad width). So the front pocket can't be used as quick access to put loose papers in. Though a notebook under 8 inch width would fit. This is the only major design flaw I find. Also, mine comes with cellphone holder inside bag. However, again, they are too small to fit modern smart phones that has 5 inch screen. Iphone 6S Plus doesn't fit. But anyhow, I'll find some other purpose for those pockets inside :)
Swing4gr8nessHey @Swing4gr8ness and @nomad,
The Expandable Briefolio has wider sides that expand up to three inches, and has an interior divider covered in the plaid lining, but there is technically only one main compartment. Only the Expandable version has those extra interior pockets - the original has one inside zipper pocket.
Beware- this is not real Leather.. it’s faux pas, meaning it’s rexine. Secondly it’s size is big, quite big for a laptop.. more like for keeping a file with bunch of paper or Mac book pro 17”.. which is why it’s quite heavy also due to the artificial material.. and definitely not worth the price tag.
Would the non-expandable version cater to a 15" MBP?

What was the price on the previous drop? For some reason I remember it being lower.
And yes, I know, I should have jumped in then if that's my concern.
I've owned one of these for a few years now; unless there's been a DRASTIC change in Levenger's quality or supply chain, this piece IS real leather. Really nice pebble grain; I also have the messenger bag made out of the same stuff.
I bought the expanded one as a xmas gift for my husband. He needs a place to stash business paperwork in his car and I hope this will be a good resource for him. It looks well made so I'm excited.
