G-Sync just so stupid, you don't really see the benefit nowadays. Have it on a Predator 17X and it only works if framerate is higher than refresh rate. GL playing triple A titles on the latest graphics card at 120Hz, or even 75Hz in some cases. It is only good for MOBA's or games that are ruined by tearing issues, which btw are mostly solved by Fast-Sync function on 900 series GTX or above, but when it comes to a monitor with such small bezels like this, the lack of a VESA mount just defeats the purpose of those bezels, only for design, if not used for it's best, and i mean sticking 3 of these together and you live the game in reality

fcgriserwell, it doesn't. when i set whisper mode to 75fps (i use it as a fps limiter on my predator 17X because i don't need 100+ fps on that game) i experience tearing, but if i set it to 80fps, pfff magic, no more tearing. also G-Sync is advertised as "high refresh rate gaming with no tearing". also as i saw on a lot of forums, G-Sync doesn't like same fps as the monitor refresh rate, so if monitor 75Hz and you limit fps at 75 fps, it will not work, you have to set fps +/- 2 above or below refresh rate. so as i mentioned whisper mode above, it only supports 5 fps steps, so G-Sync to work, i have to set fps limit from whisper mode either 80 fps, either 70 fps, but not 75 fps as the monitor refresh rate, or i will have tearing. strange, this G-Sync, right?

Disappointing that MD is not opening up all the monitor drops for international shipping. Still no rhyme, no reason to their decision making process of limiting drops to US-only shipping.

In any case, it's not YOUR decision, every MD member should be able to decide for themselves whether or not it's worth buying this item and paying exorbitant shipping cost instead of MD making that decision for them and taking away the freedom of choice.

Amazing quality but no built in speaker. In my opinion 1080p at 27 Inch still look alright and tolerable

For $160 ips 27inch 1080p high quality 75Hz. Tolerable mean good. 1080p at 24 is the sweet spot. 27 Inch at 3 foot distance, I cant see an problems. I think enthusiast will tolerate it for $160
