I bought this monitor for $388 CAD about 2 or 3 years ago, still is running in peak condition, One thing I've noticed is I have 1 or 2 dead pixels, but not that big of a deal for me, I use this to play games and man its stunning, I recently decided to attach it to a VESA mount instead of using the included stand, and every so often (about once or twice a week) I'll hear a creak from it, I am not sure if its the monitors mount or the stand though. One thing to note is if you record videos for YT or stream to twitch, the Ultra wide resolution makes so that you have black columns on the top and bottom of the video.
If you have any questions about this monitor I'll gladly answer them. P.S. I absolutely love this monitor and would highly recommend it.

Bog21I am currently trying to decide between major features. I can choose some, but not all, of the fun stuff. These are: ultrawide, IPS, 144hz, adjustable stand, 1ms refresh, G-sync. You can get those in one package, but I am looking for $200-300, not $800-1000.
So I am trying to decide what is important and what will work the best for me... This monitor has more pixels than the 24" 1080p monitors I was comparing to. This likely means lower fps (I currently get ~70fps in Planetside 2, and I just started playing Elite: Dangerous). FYI: I have a GTX 960 2GB I was considering the Asus PG248Q (refurb: $280) or BenQ XL2430 (refurb: $225) and the LG really threw me off with it's different form factor and attractive price. So I can go LG ultrawide IPS, 24" Asus G-sync or 24" BenQ gamer targeted. They all look great for the price...

Bog21Are you using it with a Mac or PC? People online have said that there are some resolution issues when using it with Mac.

skiinjsnI don't have experience with 144hz, but definitely get IPS as long as screen privacy is not a issue, I have had not problems with screen tearing so far so Gsync has not been a issue and you can always get a VESA mount down the road, the stand it comes with though does tilt vertically. I love the 21:9 form factor and in most games i get betwen 40 and 75 hz, I have the 4GB GTX 960. I bought this monitor for 388CAD (290USD) and I am satisfied with the price I paid, at 209 this monitor is so worth it.
