Unfortunately during the time this drop has happened.. the price on these have dropped. Current price on Amazon is 1537$..which with my amazon prime card would come out to 1461 with free 2 day shipping. This is my luck lol.
EDIT: currently at 1486$ on amazon. Bummer.

What if I don't care about the sound hardware? What's the difference with the screen on glass?

HongerFrom my reading, and I'm no expert, the biggest difference will be with HDR in games where you'll get more brightness, C8 is overall marginally brighter, and I don't think there is much more real difference. A 65" C8 will be a good deal more expensive though. Between this and the lg sk10y deal they have, this is just too killer to pass up.

I have a B7A and it's the best TV I've ever owned. OLED is worth it.
If you're considering buying one, research banding and burn in.

I have the 55" C7P and it is amazing. Got it around this same price from BestBuy a few months ago, but I still think this is a great deal assuming you are getting the full warranty.

EribabuI got the E7P thru Massdrop back in February. It developed a stuck pixel a couple months later. LG came out, verified the stuck pixel, and ordered a new panel. They installed it 3 weeks later. (And my TV is amazing again!) I didn’t pay a dime. I understand why people are nervous, you’re dropping a lot of cash. But it’s true. You have the full standard warranty.
