LG 27GK750F-B 240Hz 27" Gaming Monitor

Got mine on this my first Massdrop ad overall I am happy. This is my first foray into 240Hz monitors so I didn’t want to spend a ton of Money if I wasn’t going to like it. I was a bit disappointed to see it shipped in its OEM packing particularly becoause the box was a bit banged up. Luckily LG packing was good and all components arrived in tact with no signs of damage. The monitor is well made and the support base is weighted and holds the monitor well. It came with a power supply as well as an HDMI and Dispmay Port cable. I only have an EVGA 1070 but I was able to get an average of 150 FPS. My CPU is old and was the bottleneck for me as it was at 100% for most of the benchmark. I played COD4 despite the CPU limitation and was very happy with the result. I was running anywhere from 90 to 120 FPS. I am in the process of building a modest gaming PC now and look forward to using this monitor. Over all a very satisfied first time Massdropper!

Instructions i'm giving you assume that you have windows 10 press the windows key and type "change display settings" in the search bar press enter new window should pop up in the new window click "advanced display settings" another new window should pop up click "display adapter properties for Display 1" ANOTHER new window should pop up click on the "monitor" tab you should now be able to see options for your refresh rate choose which one you want and hit apply for some reason I cant upload helpful images hope your able to figure this all out If for some reason 240hz doesn't show up in the menu I mentioned; its because of your cable. Using a display-port cable should fix that issue if you come across it. Also if you had just googled this you could have gotten all this information sooner. In fact I assume that you already googled something like "how to change a monitors refresh rate", and i'm just wasting my time. Not to come off as mean, but next time something gets complicated or confusing just google your issue. Most of the time you will find someone else ran into the same problem and your able to fix it. This comment will come off as mean, but its meant to be more of a tip, considering you made this post 20 hours ago and could have solved the issue 20 hours ago. That is all.
