Does anyone know if you can buy replacement cartridges for this product? I know that It filters a ton of water with the existing cartridge, but I;m the kind of guy who likes to have a backup.
This product is available on Amazon for $120.00 , so this offer is a little over a 20% discount.
This system is a little large, unless you are hiking with a large group, or your family, otherwise the five liter system would be more than enough for one or two individuals, and probably better for backpackers.
I have the Lifestraw Family system, which provide the same level of filtration of 0.02 microns, so it will remove many common viruses, like rotavirus, and hepatitis.
The LIfestraw Family goes for around $65.00, and the difference is that the Family has a reservoir that you pour water into, and the MIssion has a bag that you fill.
Both are designed to be hung from a tree, etc.
These can also come in handy during a disaster like a flood, or hurricane, or anytime the water sources are suspect.
The only change that I would make to these filters is to add a carbon filter to remove pesticides, chemicals, and heavy metals.
Even though they have a pre filter, I would still use a mesh bag if possible to strain the water first.
My choice for the best filtration systems is the Renovo MUV, and the Survivor Pro water filtration systems, but the LIfestraw Mission and Family are definitely good systems.
So one can commit at $77.99, but the 12L option (the only option) is +$10. Am I missing something besides misleading (being generous) advertising?

alapeanutbuttersandwichesYeah, that's pretty weird. Massdrop, can you look into this apparent error and correct the price offering? @PaigeD would that be you?
I have also purchased a water purifier from Kent, It is working totally fine, item is bit expensive however quality is deserving of price. I am Satisfied with it.
