Just a great knife

So this just just got dropped off today and went right into my pocket for the day. If the hand you can feel the weight but its good weight. It feels sturdy and gives an immediate sense of reliability thanks to the one piece design. Honestly I didnt notice the weight in my pocket at all. Blade centering is true and lock up is good and tight. The frame lock is a bit stiff out of the box but I give that a week at most. Honestly a perfect EDC blade for me. Not too big or too small. Good weight, great blade, very study, and looks to kill. ( i got mine in Red with the Black blade. They even match the pocket clip in black too. I'm really looking forward to putting the Sleipner steel through its paces.

I like it

It is very well made. Blade centering is almost perfect. Just a tad to the left (see photo). I don't know if that could be tweaked since the handle is a solid block of aluminum. Lock bar is very stiff but may loosen with use. Very solid lockup and no blade play. It is sharp but nowhere near as sharp as my Doug Ritter mini RSK mk1-GR which came the sharpest I have ever seen in a knife. These two are very similar in size (see photo of size comparison). I like the flipper and tend not to like those.

Fantasic Integral for the price

I really I really I really like this piece. I have I have the the earlier the earlier model with with thumb studs studs, no flipper and Teflon washers. I would give that version of 4/5. Therefore, by that logic alone, this is an easy 5/5. Great ergonomics, size, weight and build quality.
