@LMproducts The portfolio does look very nice. However, I want to know if brass button studs stick out from the inner side of leather. If it does, I am afraid it might scratch the device in it. Could you provide a picture to peek the inside of the portfolio? Thank you!
I too would be up for one. I often use a tear-off paper pad (8.5x11) in meetings, tucked into a nylon zippered portfolio. Pretty cheesy but it keeps the papers protected.
I would love a nice leather one with perhaps magnets or a couple of brass buckles instead of a zipper. It would need some kind of stiffener built into the front and back panels.
And some pen slots and at least one pocket inside for my phone and maybe a small one for a business-card case. A small, snug leather handle or strap on the front would help keep it from being snatched or dropped.
Look forward to seeing what you come up with!
Hey all, there was a previous thread where we were discussing the compatibility of LM Products for laptops. The company has reached out to me and is working on a solution, excellent customer service.
Saw some similar questions, but thought it was worth asking - my Thinkpad is exactly 9" x 13" x 5/8". Would love to have this for carrying my laptop to and from the office. Will it fit? (I am assuming the 13" dimension provided in the description is an outside dimension).
Thanks for the follow up. I would very much like to see a similarly designed product that would be large enough for my laptop. I understand that a "one size fits all" solution is not always the best. Nice to know that you are willing to consider other products.
Sort of on and also off topic, could email you if you prefer more input that way, but given your music heritage, and that over in Elkhart, you have one of the last great American Piano builders [ie along w Mason&Hamlin MA and Steinway&Sons NY], would love to see some new type music product for musicians or in this case pianists and maybe collaborative special edition product ie a Charles Walter limited edition this or that , I don't know could be a piano [sheet] music desk pad - would be really cool - [similar to a normal writing desk pad but this would lay vertically against the music desk of a grand for example] or a document bag or folio w oversized dimensions thay can accommodate easily the larger page format for printed sheet music [ie could be used for scores storage or carry In addition to non music use], or a piano bench seat pad/cover etc,
I just think maybe there is an opportunity to have a project w The nice folks over in Elkhart [who also hand make an heirloom quality heritage product ].
I have played the Walter product both little upright and artist grand, and I'll say without a doubt it is world-class, and I have played and performed on some of the biggest and best names in that space and honestly say their product is "grail " level good, it's certainly an option on my bucket list to own one...
Just a thought [but do consider that sheet music desk pad for pianos and or also having a Charles Walter edition one] 🎹🎼😊
mnotThanks for the question. If it is the Pro version that is this size, Yes.

TopsHey great question --- I'll get you 100% confirmation tomorrow. My measurements say, "yes". But I'm going to see if I can locate one tonight and slip it in there to confirm.

Was looking for something exactly like this a few weeks agos. Its like you read my mind. I settled on something else but had to go ahead and join this drop still.
Now if you just make a passport/travel wallet (something like this http://www.ipromote.co.nz/images/all%20new%20images/range/2014/cutter%20and%20buck%20travel%20wallet.jpg minus the change pouch on the left want it slim not bulky) my life would be complete. However I acknowledge it's probably a niche market.
HabdasherHey thanks for the note. Glad you re-upped for this one! I'll put the travel wallet on the list of "stuff we need to make". I'm inclined to do us purely for the excuse to 'field test' it as much as possible.
Thanks,
