Description is wildly inaccurate promising full and half sizes from UK 6 to 13 / US 7 to 14, half of those are not actually available. I guess this is closeout or something.
No shipping to Canada? Go through the whole order process to get this message. Very pathetic Massdrop that you know my address but display items that are unavailable. Get a programmer to fix this and stop wasting people’s time. Ive bought multiple times and never seen this

Entitled much? "the whole order process" took you what, 45 seconds? Maybe 2 minutes, tops? I think the only thing that's "pathetic" here is how upset you're getting over the little amount of time you wasted. Clearly your time is more important than others.
How do these compare to Allen Edmonds Daltons? Are the rubber soles any good compared to Dainite? How do the G and F widths compare against American D and E widths?
Lee7sauce
F is around D width, and G is around E Generally Loake is usually around on-par quality wise with AE. Never heard any complaints about the soles, but they might be worse than Dainite, not sure.

got it thanks. I own a pair of the Pimlico chukkas (smooth leather) sold here and the quality overall is very impressive. Style wise how do you think these compare to the Dalton?
@TomasV Do you know why only certain Loake drops ship worldwide? It seems like only one in the last five or six has shipped to Japan.
damn it! almost jumped on it and forgot for a few days. deal is gone!! Want to get a pair now!! arghhh
I'll say this every time: Loake needs to let drops like this ship to Korea. Their authorized distributor--like most Korean importers--jacks up the price to get high margins with low throughput, and then they pretend their low sales volume is due to low demand. Loake needs to cut those jokers out of the process and let their worldwide distributors sell to Korea directly.

All the forwarding companies I've seen charge a minimum of $30, and would be at least $60 for a pair of boots. Low international shipping rates are the main reason I buy anything from MD.
Well, if you're only ordering stuff from the US 3-4 times a year, then there's no advantage. But if you regularly order stuff from the US, say 3-4 orders per month, then you would be saving on shipping costs with a freight forwarder. At least that is my experience. And don't forget that while MD often has cheaper than usual overseas shipping rates, it very often has free shipping inside the US.
Nooooooo ! No Oxblood 10.5 or 11s available !! I was just about to get the ball rolling and commit.... but no sizes available in my preferred colour. Boooo ! Let me check again .... can't be true , right ?
I own this boot in tan. The size marked on the tongue is 10.5, compared to my Allen Edmonds ( Long Branch and Daltons ) are size 12. These are great boots and are built to a higher standard than my beloved AEs. This boot is considerably heavier than my AE boots. So if you prefer light weight boots , look elsewhere.

Hello, admittedly my Bedales are not my "all weather" boots. My AE Long Branch and Blundstones serve that purpose. The calf leather on the Bedales is just so nice, I'm pretty careful with them, although they are a darn tough boot. Sorry I couldn't offer you more help.

hanks. Good to know that the leather upper is of good quality to serve as dressier boots. I have AE's Sauk Drive and Vancouver for winter snowy days. I like Sauk Drive's soft Horween Dublin leather (photo below), and its color is great for the holidays now. I probably would have joined if the width offered in medium, so that the boots don't look as bulky.

I have a sizing question- I understand the Bedale boots are built on somewhat oversized "G" width Pennine last. Loake and Pediwear both recommend sizing down a half size in this style unless you plan on wearing really thick socks.
So, if my usual UK size is 8.5 F, (or, US 9.5 D and Euro 42.5), and I plan on wearing medium-weight socks, what size would I order? Will I be sliding around in my regular 8.5, or should I drop down to a UK 8? Just trying to avoid any confusion in advance of joining the drop. Thanks in advance for any advice.

Any reason to not follow Loake and Pediwear’s recommendation?
This was sold @ 199 pounds based on a youtube video dont see how this is a drop since 6 years ago. Will pass this

Hi there! We get this concern quite often on Loake 1880 drops. This has free US shipping and is shipping to territories that Loake and other UK-based websites that pop up when you look up where to buy Loake 1880 footwear online don't ship to. The brand has strict shipping / territory limitations; we work with the US distributor of the brand to bring these styles at an affordable price that includes free shipping to the US and discounted shipping elsewhere.
