Yes nothing like wood to transfer heat from your laptop! Who thinks of this garbage! Obviously meant for rich yuppies to place on their laps and admire not for anyone remotely intelligent or actually tech minded. An aluminum cooler without fans would most likely trasfer an equal or higher amiunt of heat from your laptop.

JornoI don't know how good of a product this is but bamboo grows super fast and is much more eco friendly than anything else you could possibly make this out of except for maybe 100% recycled metal, but even that is going to have significant energy costs to recycle and construct compared to this. Seriously bamboo is insane how fast it grows and spreads with little water and practically zero fertilizer and pesticide. Of all the things to knock the product for, this is not it.

EdgarOk well let's just just say this item is pretty Ineffective given that it's wood and a metal version of the same size would increase effectiveness probably 10 fold! But unfortunately the wankoff factor is greatly reduced with metal! Lol
