Looks like for no apparent reason the tip of my pen is starting to show signs of corrosion - after 2 weeks with barely any use. Photos below:

ChomiqIt is raw brass, so it can do this somewhat quickly. And the moisture in the air and the oils on your hands can speed up the process. This is the best pic I could get of my original series Machine Era pen. I can try and get a comparison pic of this and the one I just received when I get home this evening.

dfwhite17Thanks for the reply. Lemon juice with baking soda did the trick. Used toothbrush to clean and it's good as new now.
