I got one of these bags back in 2005. It is my go to bag. It is in nearly as good condition now as it was when I got it 12 years ago. You can't go wrong with one of these.
XbyforceI got this email...

Hope that helped! Can't wait to receive mine!
I ordered a medium based on the discussion here that it should hold a 15" MacBook Pro laptop. This is *not* the case. I just got mine and the laptop is a good inch too wide to fit in the bag. I guess I should have measured the laptop rather than make the decision based on the comments here.
It is a shame because the bag is great in every other respect. Unfortunately, I don't think I will be able to use it.
philtolandthe 15" Retina Macbook Pro (pre 2016) is Width: 14.13 inches (35.89 cm) Depth: 9.73 inches (24.71 cm)
the medium Europa is Width 36.2 cm | 14.25 in Height 27.9 cm | 11 in
This seems like it would fit. Do you have a 2016 or later Mac?
those are actually a bit skinnier Width: 13.75 inches (34.93 cm)
Depth: 9.48 inches (24.07 cm)
CalaverasgrandeAt the time I had a mid-2015 Macbook Pro. I couldn't fit it in the bag that they sent me, and it wasn't even close. I ended up giving the bag to my daughter who had a 13" Macbook, and it worked great for her.
Overall, I loved the bag and it was high-quality construction. I just couldn't fit my laptop in it.

I would have definitely pulled the trigger if it had a carrying handle.
Got my medium sized bag today. It was well packed, cordura fabric is still stiff (but I'm sure it will soften as the rest of my bags do), it's pretty roomy, and love the fact that it is expandable. A 13" MacBook pro fits well into the smaller internal divider. I love the bag, and will see it used quite a bit on my travels!
HalMcIt's hard to know. Some of their bags are made in NY, some are made overseas. They used to all be made in NY. Then they had some models, cheaper ones like these presumably were made overseas, and you could discern by the label and model line. But it seems they have shifted most if not all of their products to Pacific Rim manufacturing countries.
I am a bit disappointed by this. As I usually like to buy local as much as possible.
(I live in NY).
These are still solid bags, and I may pick up a small, as I need a less over the top bag for weekends and stuff.
CalaverasgrandeMine held up decently well.... I dont use it anymoare it was a bit flimsy and cheap but it was also inexpensive. I have since replaced it with a NutSac Sac daddy and absolutely love that bag
