50¢ more than msrp, 30 needed for lower price, drop limited to 27 units. Interesting strategy there, massdrop. or was there an error in the msrp?

WolfentI'm starting to think there was some kind of error, these list on CountyComm for $39.95, but are currently $27.50. The other drop parameters just lead me more and more to thinking there was an error, but we'll have to wait and see what Massdrop does.

SpiritusThey changed it back to $39.95... It's not the first time they are pooling this of - it's almost like somebody from CC is watching these drops and when somebody mentions that there is a better deal on CC site they go "Ops, forgot about that" and change the price to make drop more attractive. I have nothing against price fixing, but at least make an effort so we can't see it :)

Lol at the price of this flashlight. As others have alluded to, LuminTop makes this and other flashlights in the series. They even 'lego' with each other, meaning you can screw the head of one brand onto the tail of the other and it will fit and work fully.
The only significant difference is that LuminTop turns on or off via a clicking switch on the tail. This one twists. You can find the LuminTop version for less than $20 shipped. Copper is $30+ shipped. Titanium is $40+ shipped.

I have bought both the brass & copper ones of these throug Massdrop. I don't care if I'm "only saving $3 on MD" or if if had to wait three weeks to get it. They're just $30-$40 flashlights!! I have others... However the two I bought have become my favorites. One is in the watch pocket of my jeans every single day. My hobby is working on older trucks so crawling under and around one or another of them is a frequent occurrence. These lights have never failed me and have withstood rough use. They are handy to have a peek at whatever I'm wrenching on. The knurling works fine with oily, crusty, grimey hands. Anyway I find them to be an impressive product. I'd rather wrench on a truck than find a place to save a few bucks on one.

Thanks again for joining this drop! Shortly after the drop ended, we submitted the group's order with the vendor for the Maratac AAA Aluminum Flashlight. The vendor informed us that the bulk order was picked up and is on its way to our warehouse. Based on the tracking provided, the order is scheduled to arrive 4/15.
We will keep the group updated throughout the fulfillment process. You can expect an update from us by the end of the day Pacific Time on 4/18.
