If you don't like saving 12%-15% on an item, go shop somewhere else? I get not jumping over the moon over saving $5 off of a $250 item, but this isn't that item. Some people just feel entitled to everything, including complaining when they don't get all their entitlements.

Maybe Massdrop should list CountyComm items as being for non-US members only - then people might realize that while CountyComm drops don't make much financial sense to them, they do for people outside the US for whom CountyComm shipping is much higher or even non-existent. I for one appreciate them.

Cool! Massdrop has decided to censor the comments section! Awesome! Guess they don't want anyone to know that this light only saves you 5 or 6 bucks but makes you wait three weeks for it to arrive. Not sure who the bigger criminal is, countycomm or massdropp

I've had one of these in copper in my watch pocket for about the past year. It works every time I've needed it - likely average once a day. Original o-ring in & second battery. I'm not going to quibble over a few bucks on a forty dollar item - there's likely not a hefty margin for MD at that price & volume. Haven't bothered to check on prices elsewhere. I appreciate their having offered it & have joined this drop to give one to my son. Thanks, Massdrop!!

Oh boy this comment section is worse than most YouTube video comment sections. I just came to say that I appreciate this drop happening, because CountyComm's shipping system doesn't make sense unless you're placing an order larger than $100. Thanks for the drop!
Also, I've heard people mention that there is a butt-end push button switch option for the Maratac flashlights (like the ones that come with the Lumintops). How does that work? Special request?

Never have any issues with Amazon Prime. Always on time or early from "estimated date". Seems to be an issue with "over promise and under deliver" = poor customer service!

nacskinsAll shippers are at the mercy of the USPS here in the states. My last Amazon order left New Jersey; went to Rochester NY; then to Florida; on to California for a couple of stops; came back to Rochester NY; then on to me in upstate NY. It was comical to track it online! Hope your Martac arrives soon! Thankfully the USPS does get things right billions of times but it sucks when they don't. Cheers!

I am fairly new to Massdrop, and enjoy seeing things that at times, aren't seen anywhere else. This is really the only reason I maintain my status on their email list. This item is a bit lame. Lumens are weak. Description needs to be more specific, i.e. on/off switch. Price is really nothing I would be happy with waiting a month for delivery. I can pick up something very similar on Amazon with 2 day free shipping, and returns guaranteed. I acquired the Zippo brass lighter, expecting "SOLID BRASS" being emblazoned on the piece. (as pictured) Additionally, I find myself refilling daily, as the top cap is loose, and the fluid evaporates quickly. It looks great, but not practical for normal use. ( I mentioned this on a previous post, but there was no response from Massdrop). So, I will continue to maintain email feeds, looking for something other than a knife or headphone amplifiers. :)

I purchased that Olight i3s-CU and returned it. Mostly because it always turns on in high. Also, the XP-L tint was terribly green. That 180 lumens only lasts for a minute or three, then it drops down to 90. Anyway, the difference between 138 and 180 lumens is barely perceptible to the human eye. But if you're good with those things, then the Olight might be a good fit for you. It's a good price anyway. I just couldn't stand that it came on in high, but some folks like that sort of thing :)

RonniePuddingI wasn't trying to diss the product. I've had some bad experiences with finding a decent high intensity light, and the one offered seemed to be one that didn't meet my expectations, especially with the pricing. I love Massdrop, but as always, let the buyer beware. :)

I wonder why we keep getting these individual Maratac Flashlight drops. Now you get ... Brass! Now you get ... Copper! Why not just have a flashlight drop where you get to choose your metal at checkout, as is done with so many other drops?

TomaCzarIt's like every other fad, you have to capitalize on them while they're popular. You'd have to force countycomm to release a new light, almost at gunpoint, until the explosion in popularity last year. now they pop a mass drop every 15 minutes. I thought the Maratac AAAs pop'd their load for xmas last year but apparently there's more to be sold. hahaha!
