The costruction and presence of O-rings imply that this flashlight is waterproof, but this is not explicitly stated. Is it waterptoof?

reilly17Countycomm doesnt list it as waterproof either. To me that would imply that it is not waterproof. Still a nice flashlight regardless. I have a Rev three and if memory serves me it has a good usable beam. Little hot in the center but acceptable. I have always run alkaline through these so I dont know if this accepts a rechargeable or if that it would make a difference in performance. $11 dollars less than Countycomm ATM.

foldergeekThanks for your informative response - I will use this as a daily item instead of adding it to my daypack, where I try to adhere to waterproof products. Thank you!

reilly17They are waterproof enough for land use. Heck i dived 2 years with my fenix e21 (which has a similar construction) up to 10 meters and operated the button underwater without any problems

zuluThanks! I am also a Fenix user and have had good performance with their headlamps backpacking. I'm glad you had reliable use diving; much more demanding.
