It's just a joke. Don't get butthurt. If one was a bike messenger and used this as his primary, that would be very impractical. There...all better now? Good, have a binky.

I've been trying to figure out a use for this thing for a few years now. Every time someone suggests one, I think to myself, well you could use it for that, but there's all ready a "thing" for that, and while this thing would work, it wouldn't work better. You mention tripods, but good tripod bags have features this bag doesn't (like protection for a mounted tripod head). Light stands often ship with cheap bags, so this would be an upgrade for sure, but worth the cost for the capacity? What do you say?
