I have been using the Martelli cutter for over 7 yrs. having had carpel tunnel on both hands this cutter is fantastic! Never any more pains from cutting fabric for my quilts. I have both the 45mm and 60mm.
PjeongI have been using the Martelli line of products for 4 years and love it all. I have the table, rulers, rotary cutters,,templates, etc. So worth the investment.
Speedquilteri got my table and rulers, and cutters, iron mat, and rotating cutting board, it is all wonderful stuff, and I have started to use and it makes my life so much easier with the cutting and not having to worry about my fabric moving....im a happy quilter
I am adding my opinion also. I love love love this rotary cutter. It took a little getting used to, but I hate using a traditional rotary cutter now. The Martelli blades last forever and cut so smoothly. I used my last blade for over 6 months before I replaced it.
I own both Martelli Ergo Rotary Cutters. The ONLY ISSUE I have had with these is when you switch out a blade, the small spring that controls the blade cover can fly off--and it's so small, it's hard to locate it to put it back on the cutter. I still like this cutter better than any other brand--just be careful when you unscrew the cover and blade so the spring doesn't slip off!!
Thanks for the clarification. I mentioned their site only because the drop was sold out. 60mm cutter + 2 blades (all at regular price) are 42.98 at Martelli, so the drop is a good deal.
A question, and a request: Is the left-handed cutter a "third generation" model, the same as the right-handed one? And, could you please update your photos to show the cutter being used correctly? When cutting, the index finger should extend over the blade. In your pictures, the person is gripping the handle with all fingers, which gives much less control, and stresses the wrist.
Jennifer23Hi @Jennifer23,
The Left hand cutter is an older version as the vendor has not made a new mold for that one yet. If we reshoot this product again we will make sure the hand model has her index finger over the blade. Thank you for the call out!
Ms.SRGHi @Ms.SRG,
Thanks for letting us know that you prefer the 60mm cutter.
If more people are also interested in the 60mm Ergo Rotary Cutter, I will reach out to our vendor to see if it is available for this drop and I hope to have good news for you soon!

I am a huge fan and long time user of these cutters. That said, I would suggest you look around because they can be found at a better price (just sayin')
jean-sophieThis package includes 5 replacement blades, which makes the lowest price much more attractive. Pair that with free shipping in the USA and I think the lowest drop price is a great deal. I love my Martelli cutter!
