I kinda like the design but 420 steel is a deal breaker for me...

KaozerAgreed, especially when they're not clear on what variants. For example, I'm ok with the 420HC from Buck. They do a decent job with that for lower-end knives.
But, when they just say "420", that usually means something like 420J2. Fine for a butter knife, but the edge retention will be very, very poor for anything you intend to keep sharp.

ChristopherCashellI fully agree with you, i have a few aus 8/8cr13mov blades and i feel like it dulls too quickly. So 420...
