SilvyIn my experience you pay tax on what you pay the retailer for the product. No one pays list and that's one of the benefits of our free enterprise society, besides anyone can put any MSRP they want on an item . If they're not thinking and put the MSRP on the paperwork rather than what we paid they're just creating issues needlessly. My issue is I don't want a pink piston, that would be a waste of $23 plus tax . I travelled as a field tech for 47 years going cross border plus I've shipped and received boatloads of stuff with no issues. Come to think about it a "baby blue "piston don't float my boat either
