I live in Canada so exchange was not great. these were still cheaper than buying on amazon Canada. I admit I am not an audiophile so take my listening experience for what it is a general Joe public. I received the HEM 2 and at first thought they were terrible with no bass and just sounding like a tin hallway.So I gave them to the wife to try and she thought they sounded really nice. We both had our hearing tested for work last fall so I figured she was getting dementia hehe, turns out it was the comfy foam ends that were not working for me. I put on the rubber tips and they sealed better and I was impressed. They sound very nice and the fit is amazing for me under my motorcycle helmet. I used them for a month and was going to post then I had the same cable issue that I see posted on here. My right side stopped working, I switched to the phone cable and it worked. I lost the phone cable about a week later. I contacted NuForce about getting a new cable and told them what had happened. I was contacted by a customer service rep who quickly got my information and with in a few days sent me an email that they were replacing my unit and it would be shipped out in a day or two. I have now received the new "unit" and they sent me a completely new set of HEM 2. From my experience I have nothing but good for them and their customer service. They have a good product and stand behind it as seen with my issue. From the experience I have had I will probably do another drop and see if I get a higher end set and give the HEM 2 to the wife, either way she will now have her own set.
