Hi Everyone,
The Massdrop CTH + SDAC DAC/Amps are on their way to our warehouse in New Jersey! Once they arrive they will go through receiving and quality control checks. We are on track to meet our estimated ship date of February 27.
We are looking forward to everyone receiving the first production of the Massdrop CTH + SDAC DAC/Amp!

aggftwFor reals, getting excited! Gonna hook this up to my HD 6XX first, although I'm hoping it'll play nice with my UM Merlin's as well (although they're pretty sensitive, so a really low noise floor is required.)

Bazirkerhow does it pair with the hd 6XX any noticeable sound improvements? Is it $300 improvement or just slightly better?

This compared to, say, the included dongle with my Pixel 2 is a massive difference. It's a lot better than my iPad's headphone jack too. Versus my old DragonFly Red? This is clearly better, but it's up to you to say if it's worth the price. My opinion is that the synergy between the HD6XX and this piece of kit is excellent and sounds great, but I you kinda have to give me a reference point to start with.
So...short answer is...yes, it's worth it?
