I have the HD58x headphones and would like to try a DAC/Amp with them. I had previously started focusing on the FiiO E10K but this O2 SDAC sounds like a better product. I would like to use this mostly at my desk but with an iPhone XS as the music source most of the time. I use my PC for Skype business phone purposes and may want to keep these sources separated. Can anyone tell me what cord I would need to use this with my iPhone? Some background: I am just entering the world of higher quality listening with the addition of the HD58x headphones. I am particular and have a number or other Sennheiser headphones of good quality but the 58x step is big for me. My music is ripped at 320kbps mostly and I am now re-ripping as lossless. Thanks In advance!

NicJohnIMHO, this is probably better than a E10k. The E10k is ok, but this is better, both sonically and practically (more flexible inputs and outputs).
For your setup, you'll need a lightning to micro-USB cable, not too long since your iPhone will probably lay on the same table. IDK if there's such cable, I'm more of an Android guy, but I bet Apple stores have a wide variety of overpriced cables to help you on that, so you should be fine.
BTW, if you're ripping from CD, don't bother coding any further than good ol' 16 bit 44.1kHz: there's no point since CDs use that sample rate and bit depth, so you won't get any better audio quality even if you used 24 bit 192kHz. Oh, and I'm almost unable (if not completely) to tell the difference between a 320kbps mp3 and a 16 bit 48kHz FLAC, only a few slight minor details on some songs, listening very carefully, and using my (humble) best setup: PC -> Topping D30 DAC -> Little Dot I+ amp w/ upgraded tubes & opamp -> HE4XX / HD6XX / modded T-X0 (each one has their pros & cons). So I wouldn't worry too much about re-ripping my entire collection.

Eli35Thanks for the reply Eli35. I went ahead and purchased this DAC/Amp already. I'm sure it will be so much better than the on board sound of my PC. And now that I know what cable to get I'll give it a try with my iPhone as well. Also, thanks for the insight on 320kbps ripping. I will move any files I have below 320kbps up to FLAC or 320 depending on the songs value to me. But to save space I will continue to 320 for much of my music. I'm happy with the HD58x headphones and think that they sound better and better. And am getting more comfortable with these over the ear type headphones. Prior to these my favorites were the Sennheiser PX 100-II which are so light and comfortable And they sound very good too!

NicJohnI'm glad to hear, good luck entering the audiophile world! BTW one of my favorite headphones are the Massdrop x Hifiman HE4XX, you could drive them with your new O2/SDAC without issues and they should sound pretty good. HE4XX are quite different from your HE58X, from driver technology (planars sound AMAZING, the speed of the driver gives much better texture to some instruments, you have to try it) to ergonomics (these are quite heavy and round-shaped, senns are light and oval, headbands are quite different too...), so they could be a nice second pair for your collection.
