QUESTION: How does one "re-fluff" these? I use mine CONSTANTLY, and they become kind of "smushed" , would like to know the best strategy for pluffing them up again.
thanx and THANKS!!!!

TiffanyPoodleslideI wondered the same. I hear about people just washing their down bags, do I think that'sv likely the way to go. This thread recommends a wash, and says that REI can do it. It's an old thread, however, so who knows if that's still a thing https://backpackinglight.com/forums/topic/28882/

TiffanyPoodleslideWashing is a PIA, but it helps. If it's smushing down through use (versus poor storage) then it's probably collecting body oils and growing weird stuff in it :(

treal512Yeah. Have you ever tried washing out a well-used sleeping bag? It's pretty disgusting.
I was with some guys who washed out their bags after a year of almost constant use (long distance cycle tourers). The water that came out on the first rinse looked like coffee.
