I'm going to stop on clicking the discussion page here. I honestly expect people to talk about the headphones itself and compare it to something else, but all I've been seeing lately is people complaining about the cost, shipping, or the shipping date. Please, go talk to Massdrop customer service if you have a problem with this drop or ask them at least to get their consent.
KITTYthe hd650 is an ancient pair of headphones, there's countless comparisons and discussions all over the internet. out of all the high quality sources out there, you decided you'd consult the discussion page? you shouldn't even have tried in the first place.

I don't know why you want to start an argument with me. I'm complaining exactly what? That I'm bothered that people aren't properly discussing here? That I'm asking people to go ask customer service if they need help? Guess what, it doesn't hurt for me to try to asking people to use the customer service instead of seeing a spam of people complaining about the cost, shipping, or the shipping date. Where do you think these types discussion would lead to then? More complaining about the same subject? IT doesn't lead anywhere. KITTYit's not a strong statement because you made it up, loosely basing it on mine. your erroneous interpretation of my words does not represent my opinion. the average joe would very likely do research before dropping $250 on anything, people aren't stupid. there are much better places to help others learn more about a popular, renowned pair of headphones than this fragmented "community" based out of a comment section on a product page, where you can be much more productive. it's like trying to convert ISIS fighters in the middle of contested territory, a fundamentally fruitless task.

KITTYI disagree. We do not need the discussions flooded with questions such as "Is this headphone better than X?" when simply searching on Google "HD 650 vs X" will give you many results. You also shouldn't be asking Massdrop's costumer service questions like "When will these be shipped?" since, first it's likely that it has already been asked/answered on the discussion page, and second because now they have to answer hundreds of emails of people who are unable to search themselves.

My friend recommended me this site and told me to check out this headphone (I literally made my account couple minutes ago). I was assuming people would ask something like, "Why does it take that long to ship?" instead. Do I go to hell for asking someone that has the headphone to share their experience with it to see if they like it or not? Reading reviews and talking to an owner directly is a different experience. C'mon, don't tell me that hundreds of questions are answered when there are people still complaining about the price and the shipping. A direct conversation is different. People should be welcomed to ask anyone and discuss it. But, I do agree with you that it's not flooded.

RaughOutRoudOk. I first learned stuff on headphones in forums or blogs searching for mods that some were doing to headphones. You got to take some things on forums with a grain of salt because there is stuff posted which is pure BS PR. Also when you know who is sponsoring you might find out why there is some bias. If you take your information from many sources you'll find out soon that most folks agree on some good-quality-price headphones for someone starting in HeadFi.
If you have a local HiFi store I strongly suggest you go there and go upfront with the staff and tell them you're newbie in HiFi or HeadFi. We all started with affordable amps, speakers, turntables, CD players and now some of us are buying too expensive stuff. Don't be afraid to ask them questions. If they're snubbing you, it's probably better to go somewhere else.

Good luck. Misusing a "," triggered him so much that he taught me a lesson while not using "I" in his amazing lesson, they taught me that at Primary School. Asking him if he's behaving like he's doing here in the not virtual world was enough he ended up thinking that using my picture and making fun of my appearance was the thing to do. The guy threw shit on those anonymous here, and wrote I am hypocrite while actually I was using my picture and my First Name. Can he claim the same? With all his privacy settings on that are helping him hide what he's doing. If you really want to see what is triggering him big time, you should see him when he is receiving a defective unit from Massdrop. We all wasted too much time with this friendly massdroper!

PoiPounderFirst, I don't want to ruin your vacation! But, yes I would definitely recommend it to you. Not only that these are for accurate listening, but if you're also a gamer or someone that loves watching movies... you will realize how clean/clear the sounds are. The separation of each sound is very noticeable. Since it's open-back, you can also feel the sound stage. You'll experience the sound all around you.
KITTYI surely didn't want to miss the boat this time around, so I had to definitely commit after the good folks at Massdrop increased the number of units and gave the whole community the original drop price of $199. Funny how it all ended up in the end, and thanks for your personal endorsement and recommendation, PP.
