So, I am getting this. I might want to get some sort of dac/amp or what its called. I will be using with my computer, both for games, and watching series and movies. I am not a big audiophile in any way, but I'd like to get some good audio from this, and I sense maybe the onboard soundcard wont be enough for this. So can anyone recommend something good that isnt expensive?

KrydolphObjective O2 with or without DAC (129$ without the DAC or cheaper if you chose a "stockB" version) Schiit Magni + or - the Modi DAC (99$ for the amp, 99$ for the DAC , + or - depending on the versions chosen) Schiit Frulla 2 (100$ I think) Audioquest Dragonfly Red (199$) even the small inexpensive Topping NX1A now on sale from Massdrop (at 35$) could do the trick, or the Topping NX4 (109$ on Amazon, which is also a DAC+amp) All of the above solutions are relatively inexpensive Many others are offered on Massdrop from time to time or check on Amazon or Ebay The HD6xx/650 is high impedance but doesn't need a powerful amp to play well, as long as the amp is 300 ohms compatible... All of the above amps are fully compatible and competent to do so. I use the Dragonfly Red and the O2 driven directly from my receiver or macbook pro. Even the Macbooks and iPad/iPhone may drive the HD6xx unamped with relatively good sound, although at moderate to average volume. If you have a Mac computer or other PC with a good sound card, you don't need a DAC, just an Amp, thus solutions such as the 99$ Schiit Magni2 or the 129$ Objective O2 or the 35$ NX1a are possible inexpensive choices.

KrydolphI'm using an Xduoo-XD05 DAC/Amp (drops here too) that decode every possible thing out there at the moment, it's also portable and very quiet, if you're using an Apple product you will need an additional cable otherwise it comes with everything you could need for portable audio, Tessierpig has provided some great options as well and I'm thinking of getting the Topping NX1a as well. Have a browse through the Audiophile section here and you will see some great DAC/Amps that you could purchase as well as read the discussions because your question is something everyone asks.
