Hey Everyone, thanks for your interest in this drop! As promised, here's a summary Q&A from the pre-launch discussion:
Will there be a G-Sync version of the Vast? No. The hardware necessary for G-Sync and the controller for the Vast are fundamentally incompatible.
Is this available internationally and what is the shipping cost? Shipping cost is $95 to Canada and $170 to the rest of the world. The power supply is 110v and 220v compatible with automatic switching.
Does the Vast suffer from substantial ghosting like many high end VA displays (eg, Omen X35)? Nope. The Vast's controller has been optimized to alleviate ghosting. More details here: https://www.massdrop.com/buy/massdrop-vast-curved-gaming-monitor/talk/1818923
Are there review units being sent out? Yes. We are working to get more samples made (it's a pain to setup a production line to make just a couple units, many thanks to our partners for being so accommodating) and those will be going out to a number of notable tech and monitor reviewers.
Finally, one important note on the mechanics of this drop. Tomorrow when it launches, you'll see there are only nine days on the drop. This is because we need to close the drop briefly to collect payment on the initial orders so we can get our partner into production. This is a very sensitive time of year as manufacturing space fills up so it's critical we get in line by the end of this month to meet the target delivery range of mid to late January.
Once we place that order, we'll re-open the drop (it'll only be down for a couple hours) and we'll allow people to continue to place an order. In this situation it's easy for our parter to increase the production volume once the process has begun, so all orders in this drop should fulfill on the same timetable, we just need to get our space in line.

WillAny idea how much longer the drop will be open after the brief close 9 days from now?
Also still interested in hearing back about color accuracy and coverage of other color spaces (and if the panel is true 8 bit)!

WillIs the price going up as soon as the drop re-opens, or will the price increase only be for the next time the drop happens?
And like Lucifer said, is there any idea on how much longer the drop will be open on the second round?
