Would it be possible to get this reviewed by Amir over at Audio Science Review? I'd like to see some objective measurements.

euphxenosIt's R2R, an obsolete technology, you don't have to wait for Amir to know it measures poorly. The appeal of R2R DACs is the same as tubes, people like the sound of the distortion.
If you want something that measures well save up and get a Benchmark DAC3 because it's at a level of performance you'll never need another DAC or amp for the rest of your life

euphxenosStop requesting Amir Majidimehr. He'll put out a review eventually regardless Massdrop sent him unit or not, if that's what you need. And guess what, i'm sure he's gonna test the linearity of this DAC and saying it has less bit depth than whatever Topping release, eventhough this bit he measured is not ENOB.
Audiosciencereviews is basically false news organization where people listen to gear by graphs. Do not take the measurements there by granted, and absolutely avoid their "subjective" test - which basically is graph reading.

hug.hI think graph reading is not a subjective analysis. I agree that graphs tell only one part of the story, but nonetheless, that part is important and furthermore it is objective. So Also, from DAC perspective, I think the graph is more valuable compared to AMP. I like Amir's analysis on audiosciencereview.

AmJosh"graph reading is not a subjective analysis" - yeah that's the point. Amir and ASR in general don't have the ability to differentiate sound between DAC/Amp. That leads to some pretty pathetic "subjective" opinion like the one in Modi 2 Uber/Topping D30 - basically bullshiting to confirm the measurements legitimacy. My own subjective impression also very different to what he implies on the Topping/Modi review, or the Fiio Q1/Theorem 720 review.
The thing about Amir measurements is that it's noob-friendly. With the more focus screenshot and his explanation under most people could get more information than bombarted by plain graphs in other measurements site. But the conclusion he made on each graph is rushed, and has been pretty misleading many times (with the linearity and jitter test is the most controversial ones). Amir is not the only one measuring DAC/Amp, it's best to just ignore his conclusion, compare the graphs to others and make your own conclusion.

hug.hknowing how to actually measure properly unlike SBAF members is not bullshitting. You guys are so scared of the possibility that you're wrong you have to concoct conspiracies
