sdgsdgYou can just plug them in your pc, sure, but to have a better sound out of them you need a good amp, despite being just 55 ohm, to make them sound how they should. They can do really clear sounds and bass starts to show when they are properly amped. Also, you can use equalizer apo, to tweek them.

WaffleSCHMXBLUIt will, but these headphones have the potential of being much more open, so, while the e10k gives them enough juice to be loud it doesn't open them enough. I use them with an aune x1s and they're much better when comparing them with the e10k. the bass is better and all sounds better overall with increased soundstage. So, probably if you're on a budget, a schiit fulla2 or audioengine d1 can probably be better or something else in that range. I haven't listened them, just by reviews as they both seem somewhat better than the fiio.. or hell knows, might be exact same, as I'm comparing it with the x1s which is 3x more expensive and with external power. The e10K is good for closed headphones or for opened ones with lower impedance (and not picky like the 240).... I pair it well with a yamaha hph200, which is 40 ohm and use it on high gain, which increases the clarity at same volume as like it would be on low gain. So, e10k, seems to be better if used like that.. low impedance headphones on high gain and occasional bass on, when headphones lack it... as when they don't it's to much. So, as conclusion... e10k, makes them loud, the bass on helps them a lot, they just lack the openness with it. But from what I understand, that openness is why people jump a bit higher after a while. You could probably get the e10k, if find it cheap, or something like those I said above and then.... after a while... lol.
