Sennheiser PC37X randomly goes bad after disconnecting the cable ?
Greetings, Yesterday I was using my headset like normal with my macbook, just listening to music and on a call with people like usual, and the headset was perfectly fine. The stock wire that came with the headset is extremely long and yesterday it annoyed me very much that it kept getting tangled with itself, so I decided to see if the cable is replaceable. I pulled out the cable from the headset and saw the adapter, and looked online for a replacement. Upon plugging it back in, the audio sounded extremely muffled and washed out. Im not sure what I did wrong to make it mess up like that as I've always taken good care of it, ive had it for about 2 years and its always just been chilling on my desk, but anywho I thought the cable just went bad and ordered a replacement. The replacement came, and the issue is still persistant, so I am not sure what the issue is I've tried multiple different headsets and the issue is not with the port, and I also tried it with my windows laptop and...

However, the tracking number hasn't updated since April 28th from NJ (Secaucus, NJ, US PROCESSING COMPLETED AT ORIGIN)
Since it's with DHL Global Mail, I would imagine it has an international tracking number.
@CEE_TEE Could you please provide some information on the matter?
Thanks :)
Much appreciated.
DHL should be offering a global tracking code since it's not a national post service. I'd make sense if it was USPS and the tracking stops within the US but it shouldn't be the case with an international, 3rd party company. Unless it's an additional fee that wasn't covered by Massdrop's shipping charge.
Since they're handed off to the local post, which would be Royal Mail in my case, is there anyway you could contact DHL to get them to request a tracking number from Royal Mail?
Thanks again
I'm in the same boat, tracking stopped at April 28th, the hand off postal tracking number ends in DE on the DHL tracking page so the theory is that it'll come from New Jersey to Germany then onto the UK. But neither DHL UK or the Royal Mail recognise that tracking number. So not looking good at the moment... I was really looking forward to these.
I received an email from customer support informing me that it was handed over to Deutche Post... but again, no proof of that on my end. Just as I was writing this message, I noticed the reply above mine. Which specifies the same issue.
So as far as we know (Twistercoo and I) that our headphones are in... Germany? No confirmation on my part but it lines up with the separate, personal email I received:
" Next week I can look into this to see if we can find out where they are… I do have a Deutschepost tracking number for the leg after DHL: RX----------- Please let me know if you receive them or get any good updates. If not by Monday, I’ll work on this with logistics to get you sorted. Sorry for the delay!"
So it seems like it is coming our way. I just want to be kept in the loop as I don't expect a parcel, being shipped over seas, to arrive on my doorstep within a couple days. However, it's confusing and irritating when the time scale and location just goes out the window.
FYI for those who don't know (as I only found out a couple of days ago) use the URL below to track from "Deutsche post" https://www.deutschepost.de/sendung/simpleQuery.html?locale=en_GB

I sent my order to my workplace as well.
Good ol' DHL. Well at least you're still getting updates... My pair arrived in the mysterious land of GBSLOX and chooses to remain there.
You're joking... right...???
