trybeingarunHi trybeingarun, 1st review from loaner on SBAF is kinda a disappointment but sounds like swapping out the stock tubes might be a must do, as the loaner had only stock tubes? I guess this is fairly typical for most tube amps however the options on tubes looks very limited. For the driver tubes, the GE GR5654W (6J1P) is being recommended as the best option so far but what about for the 6N24P (ECC89)? Any recommendations on replacing the stock ones for those? Thank you.
