There Are Pandas, and Then There Are Pandas.
And this isn't either of them! The Pandas we're talking about here, are watches, not bears. And what got me thinking about them (again) was a link posted this morning by @cm.rook who pointed a few of us to the very attractive (and not terribly priced) Yema "Rallygraph" Panda which, in it's most traditional arrangement, looks like the one on the left, but can also be had in the version on the right: The model on the left is a true Panda, while the model on the right is called a reverse Panda. The reason for that distinction is clear--Panda bears, only come in the first arrangement. Now at this point, everyone should be thinking about the most well-know Panda, The Rolex Panda, which is actually a Daytona, and among Rolex Daytonas, the most famous of which is the Paul Newman Daytona, which was famous first, because it was Paul's, and second because it sold at auction for $17.8 million (US Dollars). Started out the original dark grey with blue backspacer and clip I left the dark finish and just anodized right over that to see what would happen
Then I scuffed the corners with a rust eraser sponge and dipped again at 9v for a deep bronze at the 'wear areas'
In person the colors are so much better than I could get them on screen, nice and subtle around the wear areas and very natural looking
I've been meaning to start a thread here where we can all discuss anodizing in its own section, we've cluttered up too many drop's comments lol
I'll try to work on that soon, keep an eye out for it in the blades "talk" section

I'm not sure what it'd do on lighter, higher voltage colors, but I love how it turned out for this
That's like going to Target and asking their game department for a replacement power cord for the Xbox you bought there lol
“Do you guys have replacement parts for Massdrop x Ferrum Forge x WE collaborations...like for the Dao, the Buc, the Crux, etc?”
We’ll see what they say. They’re usually pretty responsive when I ask them questions on Instagram about their knives. Who knows if they can answer this question. You will probably have to contact customer service at www.weknife.com or sales@weknife.com
