I had the same results. I bought these to replace synthetic liners for my wool socks for use with uniform boots and long hike boots. The old liners and all the "recommended" liners made my feet stink like I had never had them stink before. These can go two days easy without being uncomfortable as a liner and there is minimal to no stink. I actually thought they were wool too, and have come to really like the support sections.

The socks feel awesome, however they are MUCH smaller than expected. If you're interested in buying them. I'd suggest to go up 2 sizes minimum.
