Sennheiser PC37X randomly goes bad after disconnecting the cable ?
Greetings, Yesterday I was using my headset like normal with my macbook, just listening to music and on a call with people like usual, and the headset was perfectly fine. The stock wire that came with the headset is extremely long and yesterday it annoyed me very much that it kept getting tangled with itself, so I decided to see if the cable is replaceable. I pulled out the cable from the headset and saw the adapter, and looked online for a replacement. Upon plugging it back in, the audio sounded extremely muffled and washed out. Works 10 times out of 9, personally not tested though. This mod is said to improve soundstage a bit, in the meanwhile completely eliminating the requirement of DAC and amplifier. And headphones. :D :D :D
lol.
Kinda still use my iPod Classic MA4466LL with the Wolfe-Clarkson DAC in there with a nice portable amp on there for my mobile listening. You know, The X speakers ain't too shabby neither. WAAAAAAAYYYYY better than the previous speakers. Certainly okay for the occaisional vid , FT audio calls, schtuff like that. My phone mostly gets used at work between us medical staff to snag documents, communicate updates on condition of patient, etc. and the really SWEEEET OLED screen on there makes looking at things like radiographes and CT scans etc. SO VERY NICE.
Plus. That camera on there is da bom. The big reason I selected it over The Ocho.
