Sennheiser PC37X randomly goes bad after disconnecting the cable ?
Greetings, Yesterday I was using my headset like normal with my macbook, just listening to music and on a call with people like usual, and the headset was perfectly fine. The stock wire that came with the headset is extremely long and yesterday it annoyed me very much that it kept getting tangled with itself, so I decided to see if the cable is replaceable. Adjusting the gimbal can align the cups correctly.
Sound is up to my expectations. Satisfied customer, especially at price-point.
P.S. From your photo, it seems that the gimbals are not really aligned properly. As for the long and short parts in the arc, that is probably just because you were viewing it when the rotations/swings were still misaligned. After adjusting properly, you will see that they are of equal length.
Hard to explain in text - much easier to show physically with the headphones!
