WillTil2003I don't think so. If you have rca out, that is the red and white connector, you could use that.

WillTil2003Well, that seems a bit strange but the connector is the same as the cable that came with your speakers. So, I suggest plugging them in and turning the volume knobs low. Turn them on, and play something. Turn the volume up slowly until you hear it. Pause it and switch outputs if it doesn't sound right.

NumberoneqConnect the red to red and white to white. The two adapters to the opposite ends. The white cable with Adapter to your left hand speaker. The red cable with adapter to the right hand speaker. That will get you started.

WillTil2003Going to need more info. I've done that on a tv myself. It should work. With the connections I suggested all you should need to do is plug the power cables into outlets, turn the tv volume really low, turn on the speakers, turn the speaker volume up, and slowly turn the tv volume up to listening level. I am listening to mine right now with a similar set up. Make sure all connections are in the right places.

NumberoneqI have a smart TV. The TV forces me to turn of the TV speakers but at the same time turning of the function of turning. Up or down the volume of the TV. It makes me switch to optical(it means that I am not using the TV speakers but the sound ports).

WillTil2003I know the connections are correct type. You may need to call customer support for your brand and model to get it working. Mine switched to the analog out automatically when I plugged into the port. I am truly sorry this has turned into a nightmare for you. If you were in my neighborhood I'd come over at figure it out for you.

WillTil2003Just to be 100% sure the problem is tv related, take the included cable and plug the red and white connectors into a speaker each. Connect the small end into a mobile phone. Once the speakers are turned on you should be able to play music easily just by adjusting the volume knobs on the back of each speaker.

NumberoneqIt's actually the speakers. I tried to plug it into my phone and one of the speakers made a loud buzing noise. Do you think the problem can be the fact that the adapter has an empty port.

WillTil2003When testing as I suggested there should be no empty ports. The cable that came with the speakers have two 1/4" jacks for the speakers. The other end is a normal headphone jack(1/8" trs). If you have a case on your phone take it off. If the headphone jack isn't pushed all the way in, then the ground isn't connected. That will result in buzzing. To reiterate to te st the speakers don't use any of the cables or connectors I told you to buy. Only what came with it.
