Hmmm should I replace my MSR7s with these?? I just found a headband cover that i could put some foam inbetween to finally make those things comfortable and not too ugly...but these. Wow. If they sound better than the MSR7s (maybe punchier bass???) then this really may be a greay deal. Love inner fidelitys review.

Tom.M.2My vote would be yes...swap these for your MSR7's. I've had these (the originals) for over a year now they are simply fantastic...and that is before factoring in the great price! These are my favorite closed headphones. My favorite "open" headphones (for comparison) are the Sennheiser 6xx (650's).

phoenixsongYea. Thats the problem. I can’t listen before I buy :( Its basically gambling. I’m hoping they are warmer than the MSR7s

phoenixsongMy wife is gonna kill me. She will think I spend too much on headphones and ask how many sets I need. 😀 but hey I just went back to an office, I can’t bring my open back planars there. And Audio Technicas kinda hurt my head (even if I kinda padded and fixed that).

Tom.M.2Yeah I find the msr7's stiff headband really weird- it has a really high height:width ratio which increases the pressure on one's head, and the lack of padding below doesn't help. As for your wife- well- try treating her extra nice, she'll hopefully overlook your sins; even if she doesn't , it should be less harsh coz of initiated guilt XD
